Tom Field, Ph.D., is the director of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program and holder of the Engler Chair in Entrepreneurship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is an advocate for empowering the next generation of business leaders to become employers and community builders. He is also a fifth-generation businessman who is a partner in Field Land and Cattle Company, LLC, in western Colorado. A frequent speaker at agricultural events in the U.S. and abroad, he has consulted with a number of agricultural enterprises and organizations and has served on numerous boards related to education, agriculture and athletics. Prior to joining the faculty at UNL, he spent four years as executive director for producer education at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
