Thank you to all our readers, contributors, and supporters - the quality of Prairie Fire was a reflection of how many people it touched (touches).

After spending six years in Oregon pursuing her degree in English/writing and serving as editor-in-chief and arts and entertainment editor of Eastern Oregon University’s newspaper The Voice, Sara Sawatzki has now returned to her hometown of Lincoln, Neb., where she continues to pursue her love of writing while working as a proposal assistant at Olsson Associates. During the primaries in Oregon, she volunteered for the Obama campaign as a community organizer, canvassing neighborhoods.
