Lopa Banerjee is in her final year of a graduate program in creative nonfiction at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has written a book-length collection of personal essays and also a poetry collection that has been accepted for publication. She is a regular contributor to Cafe Dissensus, an alternate journal of literature and the arts. Her poetry, essays, and book reviews have also appeared and are forthcoming at Fine Lines, About Place, Yahoo Voices, Northeast Review, and Incredible Women of India.
