Dr. Kwakiutl L. Dreher is actor/playwright from Columbia, S.C. Her one-woman show, “In A Smoke-Filled Room, Color Matters” was a playlab selection at the Great Plains Theater Festival 2013 in Omaha, Neb. Her book “Dancing on the White Page: Black Women Entertainers Writing Autobiography” was published by State University of New York (SUNY) press in 2008. She is associate professor of English and ethnic studies at the University of Nebraska.
