Justin Van Wart

Justin Van Wart spent a six-month internship in Cambodia with World Visio, an experience that prompted him to seek better tools for international development and led him to complete a M.S. in agricultural economics. Desiring a more hands-on understanding of agriculture, he is currently in a Ph.D. program in agronomy at UNL with Dr. Ken Cassman. His research interests include the impacts of policy on value-added agriculture and on both the quantity and quality of the food supply, including local and national food security.
