Eleanor Burns

Over 30 years ago, Eleanor Burns introduced her first “Quilt in a Day” book, starting a quilt-making revolution. She has authored over 100 quilt books and patterns and created specialty tools to simplify the process. Burns has been honored for her contributions to quilting in all the top industry awards and continues to achieve her goal of making this art form available to everyone. She will be inducted to the Quilter’s Hall of Fame in Marion, Ind., in 2012.
