Thank you to all our readers, contributors, and supporters - the quality of Prairie Fire was a reflection of how many people it touched (touches).

Dan Tyler built the Alfred-Wilson Memorial monument. Tyler remembers Norris, Jim, and Alice as dear family friends. A 1969 graduate of Polk High School, Tyler served in the US Army. He now lives in Australia but returned to Nebraska to celebrate the monument unveiling, a lifelong dream to commemorate Norris, Jim, and Alice for their outstanding citizenship and leadership.
