Dan Lutz
Dan Lutz, a retired news editor from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has been interested especially in trains throughout his adult life. Early in his career, when there were more passenger trains, he made business trips by train, and he also made many trips by train while in the armed services (Korean War era). He has traveled on trains, many high-speed, throughout the world. Lutz was one of the incorporators of ProRail Nebraska in 1994 and has held officer and director positions annually since that time. Currently, he is vice president and editor of the newsletter. He also is a member of the governing council of the National Association of Railroad Passengers. He is interested in railroad history and is a member of the National Railway Historical Society.
