Barbara DiBernard is a professor of English and women’s and gender studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she teaches courses on women’s literature, lesbian and gay literature and, this semester, a new course on “Gender and the Global Politics of Food.” A member of the Wachiska Audubon Society, she enjoys bird-watching, gardening, hiking and swimming, and is an advocate of local food.
